Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, combine Unsalted Butter (75 g) , Granulated Sugar (100 g) , Sliced Almonds (45 g) , Ground Nutmeg (1 g) , and Orange Zest (2) leaving 1 tsp of the orange zest. Reserve remaining zest for the glaze.
Step 4
Flour your surface with All-Purpose Flour (as needed) , and roll out the Pizza Dough (455 g) into a 12x16-inch rectangle​​.
Step 5
Spread filling over the top, then cut into rectangles.
Step 6
Tilt the loaf pan on its side and stack the dough pieces, then set it down.
Step 7
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the dough has cooked through.
Step 8
While bread bakes, mix Powdered Confectioners Sugar (110 g) , 2 Tbsp of Orange Juice, and Almond Extract (2 mL) together with the reserved zest.
Step 9
Remove from the oven. Let cool slightly, then remove from the pan and allow to cool completely on a rack.
Step 10
Once cooled, drizzle with glaze, sprinkle with extra almonds, and serve.
