In the skillet, heat the Vegetable Oil (15 mL) over medium heat. Once hot, add the Garlic (3 cloves) and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the Whole Peeled Tomatoes (395 g) , Fresh Basil Leaves (5 g) , Salt (3 g) , Ground Black Pepper (as needed) , and Granulated Sugar (4 g) . Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Once tomatoes become soft, use a wooden spoon to crush and break them down into small pieces. Let the sauce simmer over low heat for 10 more minutes until the sauce is ready.
Step 4
In the pot with boiling Water (1.4 L) , stir in 1 tsp of Salt (6 g) . Then add the Gnocchi (455 g) and cook according to the package instructions. The gnocchi is ready when it floats to the top.
