Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Step 2
Grease muffin pan with
Butter (15 g)
. Place half
Pie Crust (1/2)
in muffin tins, smoothing and insuring there are no air bubbles.
Step 3
In a saucepan, melt
Butter (120 g)
whisk in
All-Purpose Flour (15 g)
. Whisk in
Brown Sugar (220 g)
,
Ground Cinnamon (3 g)
and
Ground Nutmeg (to taste)
.
Step 4
Add
Granny Smith Apples (3)
and
Macintosh Apples (2)
and stir until coated in mixture. Scoop filling into the muffin tins.
Step 5
Slice remaining
Pie Crust (1/2)
into thin strips and layer over pies in a crisscross design. Sprinkle sugar over top of each pie and place in the over for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 6
Serve with
Caramel Sauce (60 mL)
and enjoy!
