Step 1
Dice the
Tomato (1)
and
Onion (1)
. Slice the
Fresh Cilantro (to taste)

Step 2
Saute the onion in a dry pan (or add pinch of
Granulated Sugar (to taste)
if you would like) for a minute until it starts to caramelize. Add
Garlic (to taste)
if you're using it and don't let it brown.
Step 3
Add the tomato and let it cook for another minute. Add
Jalapeño Pepper Slices (to taste)
and the cilantro.
Step 4
For smooth salsa, give it quick go in the food processor. Add the juice of the
Lime (1/2)
,
Salt (to taste)
and pinch of
Ground Cumin (to taste)
if you prefer.
