Easy Roasted Salted Green Peas

RECIPE

I opted for coconut oil to enhance the peas inherent sweetness and just a little sea salt for flavor. However, you could definitely add other seasonings to suit your taste preferences or to change things up! With 3 grams fiber and 4 grams protein, they're a great healthy snack!

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees F).
Step 2
Spread Frozen Green Peas (1 bag) in single layer on large baking dish and thoroughly blot with clean paper towel to remove as much moisture as possible.
Step 3
Add thawed and dried peas to a large bowl, then drizzle with Coconut Oil (10 mL) . Sprinkle with Sea Salt (6 g) and toss to coat, then spread back out in a single layer on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Stir, then reduce temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until crispy to your preference. Check every so often to make sure they don't burn.
Step 6
I find that you have to let them cool slightly to get the crunchiness. Enjoy!
