You can add a sprinkle of turbinado sugar on top of each muffin before baking to add an additional layer of sweetness and crunch.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the Granulated Sugar (10 g) , Brown Sugar (15 g) , Vanilla Extract (15 mL) , Ground Cinnamon (5 g) , Ground Nutmeg (as needed) , Farmhouse Eggs® Large Brown Eggs (5) , 2% Reduced Fat Milk (240 mL) , and Heavy Cream (120 mL) . Whisk until fully smooth and incorporated.
Step 3
Cut the French Bread (1 loaf) into 1-inch cubed pieces. Place in the milk mixture bowl, and fully submerge until all the pieces have absorbed the mixture.
Step 4
Spray a 12-cup muffin tin well with Coconut Oil Cooking Spray (as needed) . Begin to scoop the French toast mixture into each cup. Once all the mixture is in the cups, bake for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Carefully remove the muffins from the oven. Let them sit for 5 minutes. Carefully, scoop each muffin out. Top with Maple Syrup (to taste) and serve immediately. Dust each muffin with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (to taste) if desired before serving.
