Step 1
Heat your pan over medium heat WITHOUT OIL. As the pan heats up, pat the
Salmon Fillets (2.5 cm)
dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
Add
Vegetable Oil (45 mL)
. Don't be afraid to add more if you are using a large pan.
Step 3
Immediately after adding the oil, lay the skin-side of the salmon fillet down away from you. Season the top with
Kosher Salt (1 pinch)
and
Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch)
. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 4
Flip the
Salmon Fillet (1)
cook for another 3 minutes for medium rare.
