Step 1
Warm up the
Kefir Whey (35 g)
to lukewarm, dissolve
Fresh Yeast (4 g)
and
Granulated Sugar (4 g)
in it.
Step 2
Combine
Bread Flour (180 g)
and
Salt (3 g)
.
Step 3
Add
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (5 mL)
and whey mix to the flour in a large bowl, then knead the mixture until you get a smooth and elastic dough.
Step 4
Place the dough into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and place it in your oven while turned off. Let it rise for 3 hours.
Step 5
In a small bowl mix together
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (15 mL)
and
Ground Turmeric (2 g)
.
Step 6
Roll out the dough onto parchment paper. Brush the oil mixture on the dough, then sprinkle with
Poppy Seeds (9 g)
.
Step 7
Roll up the dough and then cut it out into rolls.
Step 8
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) oven for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let it cool down for 10 minutes before serving. Store in a ziplock bag for a couple of days!
