Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Chop Bananas (2) and add to a food processor. Pulse 5-6 times, then let run for 10 seconds or until bananas are smooth and creamy.
Step 2
Add in Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (20 g) , Ground Cinnamon (1 g) , Cayenne Pepper (as needed) , Vanilla Extract (2 mL) , and Maple Syrup (15 mL) and blend until mixture is smooth and well combined.
Step 3
Add in Dark Chocolate Chunks (30 g) and pulse another 5-7 times, or until chocolate chunks are mixed in, but still in pieces for a crunch.
Step 4
Add mixture to freezer-safe container and put in freezer for at least 30 minutes. The mixture is like a soft-serve ice cream after about 20 minutes but firms up like hard scoop ice cream after about 45 minutes to an hour.
