Step 1
Add Olive Oil (30 mL) to a large pot over medium heat. Add Garlic (1 clove) and cook for a few minutes, until it begins to turn golden. Add warmed Vegetable Broth (1.2 L) and Red Lentils (180 g) . Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes, or until lentils are soft.
Step 2
Meanwhile, add Roma Tomatoes (3) , Red Chili Peppers (2) , Olive Oil (30 mL) , Almond Butter (80 g) , juice from Lemon (1) , Salt (3 g) , Smoked Paprika (1 g) and Ground Black Pepper (as needed) to a blender or food processor. Blitz until smooth.
