Step 1
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F). Grease and flour a loaf pan or muffin tin.
Step 2
In small bowl combine Eggs (3) , Orange Juice (120 mL) , Milk (120 mL) , Oil (120 mL) and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl sift together All-Purpose Flour (230 g) , Salt (3 g) , and Baking Powder (10 g) . When dry ingredients are sifted, add Granulated Sugar (300 g) and mix.
Step 4
Make a well in center of dry ingredients and pour wet mixture in well. Stir until thoroughly combined.
Step 5
Place batter in prepared loaf pan and bake in oven for 35 minutes. If making muffins, bake for 20-25 minutes.
Step 6
Allow the cake to cool. Then sprinkle with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (as needed) and 1 1/2 tsp of Orange Zest (1) , if desired. You have completed the orange cake recipe in the pastry master challenge!
