Cooking Instructions

Step 1
First make sure your Black Eyed Peas (240 g) are rinsed and cooled. Peel and chop the Scallions (1 bunch) , Garlic (3 cloves) .
Step 2
Place your peas, onion, garlic, Tahini (65 g) , Olive Oil (45 mL) , and Chipotle Peppers (20 g) in food processor or blender.
Step 3
Blend until combined.
Step 4
Add in your spices, Sea Salt (to taste) , Ground Black Pepper (to taste) , juice from Lemon (1) and Red Wine Vinegar (8 mL) . Blend again until creamy.
Step 5
Taste to see if hummus is seasoned to your liking. If not, add more spices, salt, pepper.
Step 6
Remove from food processor and place in serving bowl or container.
Step 7
Garnish with extra onion and extra Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (to taste) . Serve and enjoy!
