Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C (325 degrees F).
Step 2
Mix
Unsalted Butter (110 g)
and
Caster Sugar (115 g)
until slightly colored and fluffy.
Step 3
In another bowl beat
Egg (1)
and
Vanilla Essence (5 mL)
.
Step 4
Add the egg and vanilla mixture into the butter mixture. Mix well.
Step 5
Sift
All-Purpose Flour (175 g)
over the butter mixture and beat it until fully incorporated.
Step 6
Add
Chocolate Chips (175 g)
and fold in.
Step 7
Put the batter on a greased baking sheet 2 inches apart leaving space to increase in size while cooking.
Step 8
Bake for 20 minutes
Step 9
Let it cool on the tray for 5 to 10 minutes then move them to a wire rack to cool.
