Step 1
Combine
All-Purpose Flour (250 g)
,
Salt (6 g)
, and
Vegetable Shortening (135 g)
in a mixing bowl, then use a wooden spoon to mix them together. Add
Water (75 mL)
in 1 tablespoon increments while stirring.
Step 2
Turn the crust onto a floured surface, roll into a ball, and roll using a rolling pin. Make sure it is about 1/4 inch all the way across. Cut the dough into circles using a round glass or mason jar lid.
Step 3
Take the circles and press them into the pan.
Step 4
Microwave the
Butter (60 g)
until melted, then stir in the
Brown Sugar (55 g)
. Throw the
Apples (4)
in and coat them with the caramel. Heap the dough cups full as the apples will cook down during baking.
Step 5
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes.
Step 6
Pop the bites out with a knife. Serve and enjoy!
