Step 1
Start by mixing together Butter (180 g) , Granulated Sugar (300 g) , Eggs (2) and Vanilla Extract (2 mL) . Then add Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (65 g) , Ground Cinnamon (4 g) , Salt (3 g) , Baking Powder (as needed) , Baking Soda (1 g) and All-Purpose Flour (125 g) .
Step 2
Then mix in Buttermilk (120 mL) and Water (30 mL) on low. Pour into greased bread pan.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine Granulated Sugar (50 g) , Ground Cinnamon (1 g) , Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (as needed) , Ground Ginger (to taste) and Ground Cloves (to taste) for topping.
Step 4
Spread the topping over the bread, and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
Step 5
Serve and enjoy!
