Step 1
Heat
Water (60 mL)
and
Milk (60 mL)
separately to about 110 -115 degrees F. Place water, milk, and
Instant Dry Yeast (1 pckg)
in a mixing bowl and allow to proof for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add
Egg (1)
and
Butter (60 g)
mix well. Add
All-Purpose Flour (250 g)
in 1/2 cup increments until dough begins to clean the sides of the bowl. Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until soft and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 60-90 minutes.
Step 3
Turn dough out onto floured surface and roll into rectangle. Spread
Butter (60 g)
over rectangle. Mix together
Ground Cinnamon (8 g)
and
Granulated Sugar (100 g)
. Sprinkle over dough.
Step 4
Roll dough tightly lengthwise. Cut into twelve sections. Place rolls in greased 9x13 pan. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Uncover and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes.
Step 6
For the glaze: Mix in
Butter (30 g)
,
Vanilla Extract (5 mL)
Powdered Confectioners Sugar (80 g)
, and
Brown Sugar (25 g)
until you have a smooth glaze. Drizzle over baked rolls.
