Cooking Instructions
1.
Prep the
Bai Mu Erh (1/3 cup)
by soaking it in a bowl of hot water. Cover for 30 minutes or until Bai Mu Erh (2 ounce) is puffy and a lighter color.
2.
Using kitchen scissors, trim and discard the dark yellow part on the underside of the bai mu erh.
3.
Chop remaining bai mu erh into smaller pieces and set aside.
4.
Rinse
Dried Red Dates (20)
,
Goji Berries (10)
and
Dried Longan (1/3 cup)
in warm to hot water for 10 seconds.
5.
In a large pot, add
Water (8 cups)
, the chopped bai mu erh, dried longan, red dates and goji berries.
6.
Bring to a boil then simmer with lid ajar for 30 minutes.
7.
Add
Rock Sugar (4 oz)
. Turn heat off when sugar is fully dissolved. Serve warm or chilled. Can be stored in fridge for up to 5 days.
