Cooking Instructions
1.
Prep the Tremella Mushrooms (1/3 cup) by soaking it in a bowl of hot water. Cover for 30 minutes or until it becomes puffy and a lighter color.
2.
Using kitchen scissors, trim and discard the dark yellow parts on the underside of each Tremella mushroom.
3.
Chop the remaining parts into smaller pieces and set them aside.
4.
Rinse Dried Red Dates (20), Goji Berries (10) and Dried Longan (1/3 cup) in warm to hot water for 10 seconds.
5.
In a large pot, add Water (8 cups), the chopped mushrooms, dried longan, red dates, and goji berries.
6.
Bring to a boil then simmer with lid ajar for 30 minutes.
7.
Add Rock Sugar (1/2 cup). Turn heat off when sugar is fully dissolved. Serve warm or chilled. Can be stored in fridge for up to 5 days.
