A tried and true garlic roasting technique that will fill your kitchen with an appetizing garlic aroma! It's easy, and it's mouth-watering. Its strong raw flavor disappears as soon as you cook it through. The smooth texture inside has a caramelized almost buttery creamy texture.

Ingredients

Garlic

Cooking Instructions
1.
Place Garlic (1 bulb) on a clean chopping board.
2.
Remove the somewhat larger layers on the outside. Make sure the cloves are still wrapped up.
3.
Then carefully turn the bulb on its side and slice it in half. The bottom part should more or less stay together.
4.
Then wrap each half bulb in a piece of tinfoil and drizzle with some Olive Oil (1 Tbsp), Dried Mixed Herbs (1/2 tsp), Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste).
5.
Close the parcels and roast them in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes or until soft and golden. Enjoy!
Author's Notes
You can also cook and braise the garlic cloves in an inch of olive oil over very low heat on the stove instead if you don’t have an oven. Just heat a cup of olive oil in a pan and simmer the garlic cloves over very low heat until they are super soft.
