Home Made Ricotta Cheese is a cheap and easy recipe that any fan of ricotta will love. Full Cream Milk is combined with heavy cream and salt then boiled until thick and foamy. A little vinegar is added and the ricotta cheese starts to form. Strained through cheese cloth, the cheese can be served warm or chilled - give it a go!

Whole Milk

Distilled White Vinegar
or lemon juice
Cooking Instructions

Into a pot, add your Whole Milk (8 cups), Heavy Cream (1 cup), and Salt (1 tsp). Give the mixture a good stir over a high heat for about 15 minutes.

After about 15 minutes, add the Distilled White Vinegar (2 Tbsp) to the milk mixture. and give the mix a gentle stir until you get lovely big chunks.
3.
Strain the cheese from the liquid using a muslin garment. Serve and enjoy!
