White Whole Wheat Flour
1/3 cup
Coconut Oil , melted
1/3 cup
Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
Baking Soda
1/2 pckg
Vegan Chocolate Chips

Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
In a bowl, add Coconut Oil (1/3 cup) , Unsweetened Apple Sauce (1/2 cup) , Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup) , Brown Sugar (1/3 cup) , and Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp) .
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine White Whole Wheat Flour (1 1/4 cups) , Salt (1/2 tsp) , and Baking Soda (1/2 tsp) . Mix with fork.
Step 4
Add dry ingredients to wet and stir. Mix in Vegan Chocolate Chips (1/2 pckg) .
Step 5
If the 9x9 pan is dark or non-stick, no need to grease. Line the pan with parchment paper. Spread cookie mixture evenly into pan.
Step 6
Bake for about 24 minutes, until done. Insert a toothpick to the centre of the mixture, and then pull it out. If the toothpick comes out clean the bars are ready.
Step 7
Serve and enjoy!
