Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

In a bowl, add Coconut Oil (1/3 cup), Unsweetened Apple Sauce (1/2 cup), Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup), Brown Sugar (1/3 cup), and Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp).

In a separate bowl, combine White Whole Wheat Flour (1 1/4 cups), Salt (1/2 tsp), and Baking Soda (1/2 tsp). Mix with fork.

Add dry ingredients to wet and stir. Mix in Vegan Chocolate Chips (1/2 pckg).
5.
If the 9x9 pan is dark or non-stick, no need to grease. Line the pan with parchment paper. Spread cookie mixture evenly into pan.
6.
Bake for about 24 minutes, until done. Insert a toothpick to the centre of the mixture, and then pull it out. If the toothpick comes out clean the bars are ready.
7.
Serve and enjoy!
