Step 1
Set oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Step 2
Place the
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (4 cups)
,
Wheat Bran (2 cups)
,
Dry Mixed Spice (1 tsp)
,
Ground Cinnamon (1/2 Tbsp)
,
Ground Nutmeg (1/2 tsp)
,
Fresh Ginger (1/2 tsp)
,
Honey (2 Tbsp)
and
Coconut Oil (3/4 cup)
in a large bowl and mix well.
Step 3
Pour onto a baking tray and spread out evenly. Sprinkle
Coarse Sea Salt (1/2 tsp)
over the granola and bake for about 15 minutes in the middle of the oven.
Step 4
Turn the granola with a wooden spoon and bake for another 10 minutes, turn again and bake for a further 10 minutes until medium golden brown all the way through.
Step 5
Now stir the
Almonds (3/4 cup)
,
Cashew Nuts (3/4 cup)
and
Sunflower Seeds (1/4 cup)
through the granola, bake for a further 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes to toast the nuts and seeds a little bit.
Step 6
Once the granola is cooked and nicely browned stir through the roughly chopped
Dried Apricots (1 cup)
and set aside to cool.
Step 7
Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
