Golden Milk Turmeric Ginger Latte

A thick, creamy, slightly sweet and utterly delicious hot drink made with the golden spice, turmeric, known for its health benefits and healing properties. This is the ideal drink to have before bed to help you sleep, or whenever you feel like it.

1 cup Coconut Milk
1 1/2 cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

STEP 1
Place Coconut Milk (1 cup), Milk (1 1/2 cup), Ground Turmeric (1 teaspoon), Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon), Ground Nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon), and Ground Black Pepper (1/8 teaspoon) in a small saucepan and heat on a medium heat until hot. Do not boil. The mixture will go golden yellow as it heats up.
STEP 2
Allow the milk mixture to cool for about 5 minutes, or as long as your blender specifies.
STEP 3
Pour the milk mixture into the blender with the Dates (2) and Fresh Ginger (1/2 teaspoon). Blend until smooth and creamy.
STEP 4
Pour the latte into two mugs. Serve and enjoy!
