Venezuelan arepas are a great alternative to traditional wheat bread. Made from white maize, Arepas are gluten free, wheat free, vegan and go with anything and everything. In Venezuela we eat them with soups, as sandwiches, with BBQs, on their own. They literally can substitute any form of bread.
