Coconut Oil , melted

Author's Notes

Make sure to purchase all natural, unsalted ones. If you cannot find them, soak your pistachios in water for 1 hour to ensure most of the salt is dissolved.

Directions

Step 1
In your coffee grinder or food processor, place unshelled Unsalted Pistachios (4 cups) , Coconut Oil (1 Tbsp) , Maple Syrup (1 Tbsp) , and Water (1/4 cup) .
Step 2
Start grinding, adding more Water (1/4 cup) as needed, scraping the sides of the container until all nuts have been processed and are creamy.
Step 3
Store your nut butter in a glass jar in your fridge for a couple of weeks. Use it as spread on bread, to make energy balls, or also to make tasty pasta or salad dressing. Enjoy!
