Step 1
In a saucepan, melt the
Coconut Oil (1/4 cup)
over low heat.
Step 2
Add
Oats (1 1/2 cups)
to the oil and stir to coat. Keep stirring them around so they don’t burn, and remove them from the stove only when they start smelling toasty.
Step 3
Pour in the
Almond Milk (3 cups)
and stir.
Step 4
Let the mixture cool down, then place it in your fridge for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Step 5
When ready to serve, place oatmeal back on the stove and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly so that the oats will release some starch, which will give you a creamy porridge. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
