Step 1
Prep the
Tremella Mushrooms (1/3 cup)
by soaking it in a bowl of hot water. Cover for 30 minutes or until it becomes puffy and a lighter color.
Step 2
Using kitchen scissors, trim and discard the dark yellow parts on the underside of each Tremella mushroom.
Step 3
Chop the remaining parts into smaller pieces and set them aside.
Step 4
Rinse
Dried Red Dates (20)
,
Goji Berries (10)
and
Dried Longan (1/3 cup)
in warm to hot water for 10 seconds.
Step 5
In a large pot, add
Water (8 cups)
, the chopped mushrooms, dried longan, red dates, and goji berries.
Step 6
Bring to a boil then simmer with lid ajar for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Add
Rock Sugar (1/2 cup)
. Turn heat off when sugar is fully dissolved. Serve warm or chilled. Can be stored in fridge for up to 5 days.
