Author's Notes

We know that pine nuts are usually toasted on a dry skillet, but we are following Bella’s recipe and adding oil as she does in the video.

Parmesan and prosciutto are naturally salty and full of umami flavor, so be careful not to add too much salt. Taste as you go.

If you are not a big fan of spicy, feel free to use less than a tablespoon of chili flakes or omit the spice completely.

Cook the Spaghetti (8 oz) al dente and drain once cooked.

Add 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil (2 Tbsp) and give it a mix. Set aside.

Heat 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil (1 Tbsp) on a skillet and toast the Pine Nuts (1/2 cup) until golden brown. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
