Step 1
Tie
Pandan Leaves (2)
into a knot. Skin and slightly crush the
Fresh Ginger (1/3 cup)

Granulated Sugar (1 1/4 cups)

Water (1/2 cup)
, and crushed ginger into a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for another 20 minutes. Remove pandan leaves and crushed ginger.
Step 4
Remove from heat and strain the ginger sugar syrup. Leave to cool. Then transfer into a storing jar and keep refrigerated till needed.
