Step 1
In a small bowl, combine
Mayonnaise (3/4 cup)
,
Honey (1 tsp)
,
Chili Powder (1/2 tsp)
,
Lime Juice (1/2)
,
Garlic (1 clove)
, and
Salt (1/4 tsp)
. Refrigerate the mixture until needed.
Step 2
Using gloved hands, combine
Ground Beef (2 lb)
with the
Salt (1 tsp)
and
Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp)
until just combined, don’t overwork so that the meat still keeps the soft texture.
Step 3
Form the meat into six patties (⅓ lb for each patty) then flat them for a bit.
Step 4
Spray the air fryer basket with
Nonstick Cooking Spray (as needed)
. Add patties to the basket and spray the tops with oil. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Flip and cook for 4 more minutes for medium-rare. You may need to air fry in batches.
Step 6
Remove from the air fryer basket and let rest for 5 minutes.
Step 7
While burgers rest, toast the
Hamburger Buns (6)
in a dry skillet.
Step 8
Slather hamburger buns with mayo sauce on one side of the bun. Then top each hamburger with a piece of beef patty,
American Cheese (6 slices)
,
Pickled Cucumbers (2)
,
Lettuce (6 pieces)
, and
Tomatoes (6 slices)
. Serve immediately.
