Author's Notes

You can use any kind of deli ham you prefer. I like the saltier varieties like Black Forest or Hickory Smoked.

Feel free to use pre-sliced pickles, I prefer to slice them more thinly than what you can buy.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
