Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray or sprinkle liberally with flour.
Step 2
Cut the
Pizza Dough (1.8 lb)
into 4 equal portions. You can eyeball it or use a scale if you have one; each piece should weigh about 7 ounces.
Step 3
Sprinkle some flour on a pastry board or clean countertop. Roll out each section of dough into a 6 to 8–inch round circle as thin or thick as you’d like it.
Step 4
Place the circles on the baking sheet and prick lightly with a fork to help some of the air escape. Pre-bake the crusts for about 5 minutes, until they start to look lightly golden.
Step 5
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and using a spoon, spread the
Pizza Sauce (1 jar)
over each bit of dough, leaving a ½-inch border. Add the
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (2 2/3 cups)
and any
Black Olives (1/4 cup)
or
Pepperoni Slices (1/2 cup)
.
Step 6
Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the pizza crust has browned.
