step 1
On a plate add Ground Ginger (1/8 tsp), Brown Sugar (1 Tbsp) and Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground (1/4 tsp). Mix well and set aside.
step 2
Cut the edges off the Plantains (2), make a slight incision and peel the plantain. Cut away any imperfections. Slice it on an angle 1/4 of an inch thick.
step 3
On a pan over high heat, add Vegetable Oil (as needed) to completely cover the bottom of the pan. Add the slices of plantain and fry for about 2 minutes each side.
step 4
Remove the plantain slices once they are golden brown on both sides and place them on a plate with a paper towel to soak off the excess oil.
step 5
Top it with the cinnamon, brown sugar and ginger mix. Serve and enjoy!
