Heat pan over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Drizzle Rib Eye Steak (1) with Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (2 tsp).

Season with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste).

Flip steak and repeat. Drizzle Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1 tsp) and season with salt and pepper.

Place steak in hot pan, and sear on side one for 6 minutes.

Flip steak and sear for another 4 minutes for a medium temperature (for a one inch/two and half centimeter steak). or a rare steak: 5 minutes side one, 3 minutes side 2. Medium rare: 5 minutes side one, 4 minutes side two. Cooking times will vary based on steak thickness.

To finish off steak, place Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp) in the pan, and let melt.

Baste steak by spooning the hot butter over the steak.

Remove steak from pan and let rest for at least 2 minutes.

Top steak with a compound butter or your favorite sauce. Serve with Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes (1/2 cup) and enjoy!
