In a medium-sized bowl, stir Dark Brown Sugar (4 Tbsp) into Peaches (2 cups). Set aside.

Slice Butter (3/4 cup) into an 8-inch by 11-inch or 9-inch by 12-inch baking dish. Place in oven and set oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

While butter is melting, whisk together Self-Rising Flour (1 cup) and Dark Brown Sugar (3/4 cup).

Whisk in Milk (1 cup).

When butter is melted, remove the hot, buttery baking dish from the oven and pour the whisked batter over the top of the melted butter.

Sprinkle sugared peaches over the top of the batter.

Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the batter has risen around the peaches, the top is light brown, and the sides are darker brown.
