Step 1
In a medium-sized bowl, stir
Dark Brown Sugar (1/4 cup)
into
Peaches (2 cups)
. Set aside.
Step 2
Slice
Butter (3/4 cup)
into an 8-inch by 11-inch or 9-inch by 12-inch baking dish. Place in oven and set oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Step 3
While butter is melting, whisk together
Self-Rising Flour (1 cup)
and
Dark Brown Sugar (3/4 cup)
.
Step 4
Whisk in
Milk (1 cup)
.
Step 5
When butter is melted, remove the hot, buttery baking dish from the oven and pour the whisked batter over the top of the melted butter.
Step 6
Sprinkle sugared peaches over the top of the batter.
Step 7
Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the batter has risen around the peaches, the top is light brown, and the sides are darker brown.
Step 8
Remove from oven and serve while hot. Enjoy!
