I love to create original recipes, but I thought I’d get back to basics. This simple syrup recipe is something that you find in a variety of drink recipes from margaritas to lemonade. This recipe can also be adapted to include different fruit juices and herbs.

Cooking Instructions

Put the Water (1 cup) and Granulated Sugar (1 cup) in a small saucepan. Heat on the stovetop over low heat.

Stir until the sugar dissolves.
3.
Let cool slightly before pouring into a sealed container. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month. Enjoy in your favorite drink recipes!
