Just Jan’s® Balsamic Onion Savory Spread

1/2 jar
(9 oz)

Just Jan’s® Apricot Fruit Spread

•

1 Tbsp

Simply Organic Onion Powder

•

1 Tbsp

Dry Mustard

•

2 tsp

Simply Organic Garlic Powder

•

1 tsp

Cayenne Pepper

•

to taste

Salt

•

to taste

Ground Black Pepper

•

2 Tbsp

Apple Cider Vinegar

•

1 Tbsp

Yellow Mustard

•

Honey

Buns

Smoked Gouda

Cooking Instructions

Remove the skin from the fully cooked Chicken (1) , then remove all the meat from the bones.

Put chicken meat into a large pot, and pour a Beer (1 can) over the chicken until just covered.

Bring the mixture to a low simmer and add 1/2 a jar of Just Jan’s® Balsamic Onion Savory Spread (1/2 jar) , 1/2 a jar of Just Jan’s® Apricot Fruit Spread (1/2 jar) , Simply Organic Onion Powder (1 Tbsp) , Dry Mustard (1 Tbsp) , Simply Organic Garlic Powder (2 tsp) , Cayenne Pepper (1 tsp) , Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tbsp) , Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste) .

Simmer until chicken breaks down and takes on a stringy appearance. The liquid should be reduced by more than half.

Turn up heat, and add Yellow Mustard (1 Tbsp) . Stir, and add Honey (to taste) until deisred sweetness is attained.

Remove from heat, and serve on Buns (to taste) with some Smoked Gouda (to taste) . Enjoy!
