Cooking Instructions

Place a cast-iron pan over high heat for 2 minutes. Once hot and just starting to smoke, lower the heat to medium.

Season the Flank Steak (2 lb) generously on both sides with Dan-O’s® SPG Tri-O Seasoning (3 Tbsp) pressing it in well.

Add the Unsalted Butter (1/2 stick) and the Avocado Oil (3 Tbsp) to the pan and let it heat through.

Place the steak in the pan and cook over medium heat, flipping it 6 times total, or about every 3 minutes, until the thickest part reaches 133 degrees F (56 degrees C). Adjust the heat as needed while cooking.

Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes.
