Mozzarella & Pepperoni Panini

Ingredients

1 clove Garlic
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 tablespoon chopped Fresh Oregano
1/4 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 loaf Large Ciabatta Bread
4 ounce Pepperoni Slices

STEP 1
Place the Garlic (1 clove) in a bowl with the Salt (1 teaspoon) and Ground Black Pepper (1 teaspoon), mash or grate with two forks.
STEP 2
Add in Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1 teaspoon), Fresh Oregano (1 tablespoon), Fresh Basil (1 tablespoon) and Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1/4 cup). Mix to blend. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
STEP 3
Cut the Ciabatta Bread (1 loaf) into fours and brush with the garlic oil.
STEP 4
Distribute the sliced Fresh Mozzarella (8 ounce) and Pepperoni Slices (4 ounce) evenly.
STEP 5
Place the sandwiches in a panini press and cook till melty and crisp - about 5-6 minutes. Enjoy!
