Cooking Instructions
1.
Slice the Shiitake Mushrooms (2 cups). Thinly slice the Onion (1/2).

Chop the Garlic (4 cloves).
3.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
4.
In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt half of the Butter (1 tsp) and add the onion. Salt (to taste) and cook until browned and soft for about 6 minutes
5.
Add the garlic cloves (4) and stir for another 3 minutes.
6.
Add the remaining Butter (1 tsp), melt and add the shitake mushroom and Vegetable Stock (4 Tbsp). Season with salt. Turn up the heat and sautee until browned.
7.
Drop the Broccoli Rabe (1 bunch) into the boiling water to blanch for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and add to the frying pan with the shitake mushroom and onion, and cover until the rabe is completely softened.
8.
Remove the cover and allow the juices released to simmer off. Add any salt needed.
9.
Serve.
