1/2 Tbsp
Baking Soda
2 Tbsp
Water
1 cup
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3/4 cup
Chopped Honey Roasted Almonds

Step 1
Combine Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup) , Honey (2 Tbsp) , Corn Syrup (1/3 cup) and Water (2 Tbsp) in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir to dissolve sugar, bring mixture to a boil and cook until light caramel in color for 5-7 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat, add Baking Soda (1/2 Tbsp) and whisk vigorously to combine.
Step 3
Pour mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper and set aside to cool.
Step 4
While the honeycomb cools, heat the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (1 cup) in the Panasonic Microwave Oven for 30 seconds, and then at 10-second intervals until most chips are melted. Remove and stir until completely melted.
Step 5
Once slightly cooled, pour over the cool honeycomb. Top with Honey Roasted Almonds (3/4 cup) .
Step 6
Let the chocolate set completely.
Step 7
Use a sharp knife to slice into pieces.
Step 8
Enjoy! Cooking results may vary depending on microwave oven used.
