Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Scrub all Lemons (5) clean, then pat dry with a dry towel or tissues. Use a hand grater or lemon grater to zest the lemons.
Step 2
Combine Granulated Sugar (3/4 cup) , Water (1 cup) , and lemon zest in a small pot to make simple syrup. Heat the pot over medium-high heat until mixture starts to simmer and stir until sugar dissolves.
Step 3
While the simple syrup cools, juice the lemon and strain to remove all the seeds and the pulp.
Step 4
Combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup in a pitcher. Add Water (2 cups) to dilute. If you prefer your lemonade even thinner, add up to one cup more or until to your liking.
Step 5
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, then serve over with Ice (to taste) and slices of lemon if you like things pretty. Enjoy!
