Step 1
Drain the Chickpeas (2 cans) in a colander. You can reserve the chickpea water (known as aquafaba) for another recipe, such as Vegan Pavlova.
Step 2
Combine Chickpeas, the juice of the Lemons (2) , Garlic (4 cloves) , Salt (to taste) , and Tahini (3/4 cup) into a Food Processor and blitz on medium speed until combined.
Step 3
Slowly drizzle in the Olive Oil (1 cup) until a thick paste forms. Taste and adjust salt if needed.
Step 4
Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkling of Paprika (to taste) or Za'atar (to taste) .
