Step 1
Remove the thick layer of skin from your
Pork Shoulder (1)

Step 2
Season your pork shoulder with
Kosher Salt (1 Tbsp)
,
Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1 Tbsp)
, and
Granulated Garlic (1/2 Tbsp)
.
Step 3
Place your seasoned shoulder into baking dish or cast iron pan, add a cup of water, and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 3 hours.
Step 4
Allow pork shoulder to cool slightly and then slice the meat.
Step 5
Set the sliced pork shoulder aside and begin preparing the sandwiches. Slice the
Cuban Bread (1)
.
Step 6
Smear both sides of the fresh cuban breadwith
Yellow Mustard (to taste)
, add a generous portion of the sliced pork shoulder, and add
Pickle Slices (to taste)
.
Step 7
Add a slice of the
Cooked Ham (6 slices)
and the
Swiss Cheese (to taste)
.
Step 8
Close the sandwich,
Butter (3 Tbsp)
both sides of the bread, and place on a griddle or sandwich press.
Step 9
Cook until the outside is crispy and the inside is hot.
Step 10
Serve with a side of french fries and pineapple or mango and Enjoy!
