Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Wash Dry Red Beans (8 ounce) and soak for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Step 2
Remove the beans that float to the surface. Add Water (3 cup) and beans to a pressure cooker. The water should cover the beans. Bring the mixture to a boil then lower the heat to a gentle simmer.
Step 3
Simmer for 1 hour or until the red beans become tender.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth. Press the mixture through a sieve to remove the red bean skin.
Step 5
Transfer the paste to a pan. Add Salt (1 pinch), Granulated Sugar (2 cup), and Butter (2 tablespoon). On low heat, simmer the excess water out of the paste. Keep stirring to avoid burning the paste.
Step 6
Serve and enjoy!
