Step 1
Cook the Ramen Noodles (3 package) and drain and rinse them in cold water. Save the ramen spice packets.
Step 2
Whisk together Large Egg (1), Water (1 tablespoon), and 2 of the ramen spice packets. Add noodles and mix them into the egg mixture.
Step 3
Spread out the noodles on a piece of parchment. Make a rough rectangle that is about 1/2-inch thick.
Step 4
Then add a top layer of parchment, a second sheet pan, and something heavy. Press the noodles for about 10 minutes.
Step 5
Peel off the parchment paper. Bake the noodles as a solid block at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Cut the croutons with a chef's knife. Do not move them. Put them back in the oven for another 15 minutes. This will really firm up the croutons and crisp the edges.
Step 7
Break up the croutons and flip them a bit. They should be getting crunchy on the outside. Put them back into the oven for 10-15 minutes so they get even crunchier.
