Step 1
Boil the
Almonds (1/2 cup)
in water for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Peel and grind the cooked almonds in a food processor or mortar until the granules are 2-3 millimeters in diameter.
Step 3
In a pot, place 3 cups of the
Milk (4 cups)
and
Granulated Sugar (1/4 cup)
over medium heat.
Step 4
Bring to a boil while continuously stirring. Then, remove the pot from the heat.
Step 5
Dissolve the
Rice Flour (1/4 cup)
in the remaining cup of milk. Add to the hot milk and stir. Then, return the pot to the heat.
Step 6
Add the almonds and stir continuously until you get the desired consistency.
Step 7
Add
Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
and
Ground Cardamom (to taste)
.
Step 8
Pour the drink into serving cups.
Step 9
Garnish with
Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
,
Slivered Almonds (to taste)
or as preferred.
