This is a typical German recipe for Rice Pudding. Simple and comforting, and super budget-friendly!

Short Grain White Rice

Unsalted Butter

Milk

Granulated Sugar

Cinnamon Sugar
Cooking Instructions
1.
Melt the Unsalted Butter (1 Tbsp) in a large pot and sauté the Short Grain White Rice (1/2 cup) for a minute.
2.
Add Milk (2 cups) and Granulated Sugar (1 Tbsp).
3.
Bring to a boil and cover with a lid. Turn down to low heat and let bubble for 30 minutes. Check and stir every 10 minutes.
4.
Serve hot with Cinnamon Sugar (1 tsp) on top.
Author's Notes
For this recipe, you dont want to substitute brown rice as it wont get creamy.
