Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F), 160 degrees C (325 degrees F) fan, gas mark 4.
Step 2
Place the Dates (1 cup) in a bowl with the boiling water and leave for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the dates and water to a blender or small chopper and blend until a paste is formed.
Step 4
Transfer the date paste into a large bowl, then add the melted Coconut Oil (2.5 oz) or butter, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (3 Tbsp) , Vanilla Extract (1 tsp) and Gluten-Free Oats (1 cup) .
Step 5
Mix well, then place the mixture into a greased tray measuring approximately 15cm by 25cm.
Step 6
Spread the mixture out and smooth the top before placing in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F), 160 degrees (325 degrees F) fan, gas mark 4 for 25 minutes.
Step 7
Leave to cool before topping with melted Sugar-Free Chocolate (1/2 cup) or cutting into slices.
Step 8
Serve and enjoy!
