Preheat oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F), 160 degrees C (325 degrees F) fan, gas mark 4.
Dates (1 cup)
in a bowl with the boiling water and leave for about 20 minutes.
Transfer the dates and water to a blender or small chopper and blend until a paste is formed.
Transfer the date paste into a large bowl, then add the melted
Coconut Oil (2.5 oz)
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (3 Tbsp)
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
Gluten-Free Oats (1 cup)
Mix well, then place the mixture into a greased tray measuring approximately 15cm by 25cm.
Spread the mixture out and smooth the top before placing in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F), 160 degrees (325 degrees F) fan, gas mark 4 for 25 minutes.
Leave to cool before topping with melted
