St. Germain Cocktail with Pineapple Juice

If you like cocktails, chances are, you’ve had some mixed with St. Germain. It is made from elderflower, a small, white starry flower from the hillsides in the French Alps during a short four-to-six-week period in spring. Make this your first Spring cocktail!

4 fluid ounce St~Germain
4 fluid ounce White Rum
4 ounce Pineapple Juice
2 fluid ounce Ginger Ale
to taste Ice
1 slice cut Pineapple , as garnish

STEP 1
Place Ice (to taste) in a cocktail shaker.
STEP 2
Shake Pineapple Juice (4 ounce) well and pour over the ice, followed by the St~Germain (4 fluid ounce) and White Rum (4 fluid ounce). Add Fresh Mint Leaves (6), if using. Close the lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
STEP 3
Fill a cocktail glass with 4-6 new ice cubes, pour the mixed drink from the shaker into the glass. Add Ginger Ale (2 fluid ounce) then stir gently.
STEP 4
Garnish with more mint leaves and/or a slice of Pineapple (1 slice). Enjoy!
